Dive Rescue Operations I (ERD 1)

Students completing this course will have a strong foundation in Public Safety Diving and ready to be an active member of a PSD Team. Students will gain knowledge as a Dive Tender, certification with Full Face Masks and a variety of communications packages (hardwired / wireless), and learn PSD skills including search patterns, forensics, mapping, body recovery, and more. This course is a minimum of 40 hours and includes the following certifications:

• Dive Rescue Operations I
• ERDI 1
• Tender
• FFM/Communications

You will spend the week in the classroom, pool, and open water sites. Included in the course are various medical training scenarios to enhance your understanding of diving medicine.

Prerequisites: Open Water Certification, and 18 years of age or older. While not required, having attended the PSD Prep Course or equivalent will greatly benefit the student.

Equipment Required: BCD, Regulator, Bail Out Cylinder (Pony Bottle) Wetsuit, Snorkel Equipment. All equipment is available for rental from Trilogy Dive Center.

Dates: Sep 12-16, 2022

Location: Trilogy Dive Center

You will meet at Trilogy Dive Center daily for the course. Transportation is provided from Trilogy Dive Center to the various dive sites that will be utilized in the course.
